Data Center
Provides import, export, sharing, project management, app backup, restore and resources in one place.
Manual
Use the data center, projects and undo for import, export and project work.
Data Menu
The data menu gives fast access to management, exchange and correction of your working data.
Provides import, export, sharing, project management, app backup, restore and resources in one place.
Opens project management to select, create, rename, organize and switch projects.
Reverts the last supported action, useful for correcting accidental points or steps.
Undo
Undo reverses only the latest supported action that is still available in the current work context. If the command is disabled, that context has no reversible step.
Undo is neither a browsable history nor recovery for deleted projects or files. Use a project archive or an app backup for that purpose. Understand backups
Data control
Larger operations run as traceable background tasks so projects and data sets remain consistent.
Backup and restore tasks show progress and can be cancelled when needed.
Large data sets and encrypted backups are processed in a streaming way. Encrypted backups are protected after compression.
If an import, analysis or POI indexing task is active, the app waits for it to finish before starting another import.
Export and backup
The shared assistant shows which data is selected, what the destination format supports and which details will be preserved.
Project, collection, import group and selected objects use the same filtered source concept. Empty or invalid selections are blocked.
Format capabilities and potential losses are summarized before writing rather than discovered after an incomplete file is produced.
.asmaps is a portable project archive. .asmaps.backup stores selected app areas and has separate restore options.
Passwords, API keys and tokens are not written to projects or backups.
MapTools
The Data Center separates import, export, backup, restore and resources. Projects define the working context; Undo only covers supported recent actions and does not replace a backup.

Detailed guides
Queued, running, completed, failed and cancelled imports are shown as separate tasks.
The × hides up to the three most recent visible rows but does not stop work. A new task makes the panel visible again; use the task's Cancel action when available.
Up to two non-conflicting tasks can run in parallel; tasks using the same resource wait. Duplicate submissions are rejected. Wait for the final status and inspect recovery notices after interruption.
Import
MapTools checks the file first and then shows suitable contents and import targets. Nothing is imported without confirmation.
All supported project, exchange, map, layer, POI and elevation formats. MapTools detects the content and suggests a suitable target.
Complete MapTools projects with app-specific objects, collections and metadata.
Waypoints, routes and tracks from GPX files.
Objects, vector data and supported image overlays from KML or compressed KMZ files.
Points, lines, areas and POIs from GeoJSON files.
Coordinate lists that can be imported as points, POIs or vector data.
Android filters by reported file type. The file extension and content are checked again before import.
