Online and offline maps may be subject to their own terms. OpenStreetMap, Mapsforge, Google or third-party sources must be used and attributed according to their license.

App
Libraries and SDKs
ArxSilex MapTools uses Android, Jetpack/Compose, map, location, camera and data libraries. The relevant license texts are available in the app or project notices.
Render themes
Imported Mapsforge/Elevate themes are not provided by ArxSilex MapTools. License, source and permitted use depend on the respective theme provider.
User imports
Users who import their own GPX, KML, GeoJSON, GeoPackage, MBTiles, GeoTIFF, POI or terrain data remain responsible for usage rights, source attribution and redistribution.
Offline and external data
External datasets remain under their own licences
Offline maps, POI databases, elevation models, raster overlays, tiles, map styles and third-party downloads can have separate provider terms. Check the original source before sharing, publishing or redistributing derived files.
Remote ID and exports
Remote ID exports in KML, GeoJSON or CSV contain received public broadcast data. The exported file itself does not create a new licence for the underlying broadcast or third-party data.
OpenStreetMap note
OpenStreetMap data is provided by OpenStreetMap contributors and is commonly licensed under the Open Database License. Required attribution and licence conditions depend on the map or data source actually used.
