Which data belongs where
The table lists typical formats and the matching use in the app. Always check license, region and file format before importing data.

ArxSilex MapTools does not bundle this data. Map source and offline maps are managed in the map browser.

Mapsforge / MBTiles / GeoPackage / GeoTIFF
The provider alone does not determine compatibility. File format, content, CRS, licence and its role as map, layer, overlay, POI or elevation source all matter.
GPX / KML / GeoJSON / Shapefile

.osm.pbf / MVT / LAS / FileGDB
Raw .osm.pbf data, vector MBTiles with MVT/PBF, LAS/LAZ point clouds, IMG and FileGDB are not imported directly. Convert them first. Raster MBTiles are supported; they are not the same as vector MBTiles.
Mapsforge / USGS / Copernicus / Natural Earth
Data is not bundled with MapTools. Check licence, attribution, registration, coverage and file size.
