No app account
ArxSilex MapTools currently does not offer registration or its own user account. There is therefore no server-side app account on ArxSilex servers that would need to be deleted.
This page is the public data deletion resource for Google Play and guidance for GDPR deletion requests. It explains which data is local and which requests can be sent to ArxSilex.
Projects, map objects, routes, tracks, POI, imported offline maps, layers, terrain, user profiles, group profiles and optional Remote ID history can be removed or cleared in the relevant app areas.
Open Android Settings > Apps > ArxSilex MapTools > Storage and clear app data or cache. This removes local app data; Android Auto Backup is disabled for the app.
When the app is removed, Android usually deletes app-owned storage. Manually exported files, backups or files stored in cloud and file apps remain at their chosen location.
Use privacy@arxsilex.de for privacy and GDPR deletion requests. Use support@arxsilex.de for normal app support.
Where to delete what
Much of the data does not leave the device. Data you export, share or create with third-party providers must be deleted where it was stored.
| Area | Storage location | Deletion path |
|---|---|---|
| App account or login | Not available. The app currently does not create its own app account. | No account deletion is required. Play Console declarations should treat account creation as not available. |
| Projects, markers, routes, tracks, measurements, POI | Local app-owned storage. | Delete in the app, clear app data through Android, or uninstall the app. |
| Offline maps, layers, raster overlays, terrain, import batches | Local app-owned storage or a file location selected by you. | Remove in the app data/import areas or delete the file at its storage location. |
| Remote ID live data and history | Live in memory; optional history locally, depending on settings only for the session or up to 24 hours. | Stop Remote ID scanning, clear history in the app, or clear app data through Android. Delete KML, GeoJSON or CSV exports separately. |
| BLE group and session data | Locally during the group session and on receiving devices in the group. | Stop the group function, delete the group profile, or clear app data. Data on other devices must be deleted there. |
| Manual backups and exports | At the storage location or target app selected by you. | Delete files such as .asmaps, ZIP, GPX, KML, KMZ, GeoJSON, CSV, PDF or Remote ID exports where they were stored or shared. |
| Support emails | In the ArxSilex email/support system or the mail provider. | Request deletion or access by emailing privacy@arxsilex.de. Legal retention obligations may take precedence. |
| Online maps and third parties | At Google, OpenStreetMap, map providers, cloud storage, messengers or target apps. | Use the privacy and deletion processes of the respective provider. ArxSilex cannot directly remove this third-party data. |

Some data may be retained where legal obligations, evidence, security or abuse prevention require it. In that case we will inform you about the scope and reason.
